Children learn best when engaging all their senses. In conjunction with Earth Day’s Celebration, the children tried seed planting.
Through this activity, children were exposed to the touch and feel of soil, varies kind of seeds and basic planting steps (such as scooping up the soil, placing the seed in the pots and watering).
This activity is a lovely way to build up children’s responsibility level. They are exposed to the basic knowledge on how to take care of their seeds daily ; in order for them to become healthy plants.
The children start it small by trying out seed planting and we look forward for them to grow their love toward the nature- plants!
The parents supported the activity by contributing empty recycled container or pot.
Below are some pictures in action!
