“Root for The Future” — Diorama of Life Cycle of Plants (HSP)

In support of of our Centre’s Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project, “Root for The Future,” and aligned with our Term 4 theme on the environment, we initiated a special home-school collaboration project involving both parents and children. This thoughtfully designed activity aime to strengthen the parent-child bond while providing a platform for the children to reinforce and apply the environmental concepts they have learned at school.

Our children bringing their projects back to school for a Show & Tell!

Through this project, parents and children worked together on creating something meaningful, allowing the children to deepen their understanding of environmental responsibility in a practical, hands-on way. The collaborative nature of this activity not only encourages meaningful interaction between parents and children but also serves as a bridge between home and school learning, ensuring that key lessons about sustainability and care for the environment are supported across both environments.

Empathy Builders- Helping Hands

At E-Bridge Yishun 504, our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project has inspired parents and children to come together in a heartfelt effort to create greeting cards in support of the Children’s Cancer Foundation. This wonderful opportunity allowed families to craft DIY cards for children facing health challenges, with each card—no matter how simple—holding the potential to bring joy and hope to those in need. This activity not only nurtured kindness, creativity, and compassion in our children but also reinforced the beautiful truth that no child is too small to make a difference. In addition to the greeting cards, our talented students have been busy creating stunning art pieces for an upcoming art auction. We will also host a charity walk, with 100% of all proceeds going directly to the CCF.Through these initiatives, we are cultivating a strong sense of community and support for those who need it most. Together, we are joining hands and hearts to make a meaningful impact, teaching our children that their contributions—whether big or small, monetary or simply a kind gesture—can create ...
