At Geylang Serai Blk11, we want to support and engage Children in a borad based arts education programs which is Performing Arts.
Why are we doing this?

To build self esteem and confidence in Children- help define each child’s individual character, creativity, problem solving skills and perservance

To create awareness of different arts programs

To help Children experience excitement and dedication by performing to raise funds to help others
How are we doing it?
Children learn to perform by singing, dancing, dramatizing and playing of instruments in front of others. This helps a Child to build a sense of purpose on how Arts positively affect ones confidence and self esteem. They are then coached in performance skills to ensure they are portraying their character in play.

We want to create awareness to the Children that even they are young, they could contribute and give back to the society in a fun joyful & meaningful way
On 9th April 2018, we had a launch party of our project.
Parents were invited to the launch party to give them the overview of the project. We get the Teachers to perform to model what the whole project is all about.
Children had fun in participating in the launching party. They had the gist of the project that we will be doing.
We hope that this project will be a sucessful one. To give us opportunity to collaborate with different stake holders and to involve parents in their Child’s learning.
