When the children were presented with a picture of Pedeo, the California Sea Lion, they eagerly shared their prior knowledge about these fascinating creatures. Building on this foundation, we explored secondary resources such as Google, educational videos, and group discussions to deepen our understanding.
As we delved into the impact of plastic pollution on sea lions, we engaged in a creative project to address this issue. We recycled and upcycled plastic bottles to craft unique artworks for our California Sea Lion fundraising campaign, in collaboration with Mandai Wildlife.
