In lieu of the next activity, we went to the nearby area opposite our school to pick-up leaves to create something our teachers say, as Dry Leaves Chandeliers. They described it as something that hangs from the ceiling, with dangling crystals. In this instance, we assumed that the dangling items is our leaves.
It was really fun picking up the dry leaves that we pretended to be our shining crystals for our chandelier.
After picking-up the leaves, we were shocked to see the playground. We saw used, dirty tissues and many dry leaves on the grounds. We decided to use our superpowers to clean our playground.
It was really an experience for us but we felt so good when we see that the playground is spick & span thanks to our superpowers!
The resident cleaner who was pushing his huge green trolley stopped in shocked to see the playground almost clean. He thanked us for doing our part to keep the neighbourhood clean. We felt so good about the good deed that we did and decided that we would lend a hand to clean the playground every month.
Though he did not show it, the resident cleaner thanked us several times.
Many hands do makes a heavy work light!
