The Kingdomgarten Preschool Services sent us an activity which could help children learn how to appreciate what they already have and share it with others.
It was told through the Bible story of The Boy Who Had 5 Loaves and 2 Fishes.
Jesus prayed and became many good for everyone!
The boy gave what he had, even though it was just 5 bread and 2 fish.
The children were excited to prepare their box. They would be putting what they would like to share into this box.
Some children were really excited and brought some items to share with the friends the very next day. It was a little challenging because most of them wanted to bring food items. However, due to the Covid situation, they are not allowed to share food. Hence, they thought of alternatives like sharing their toys instead.
As they saw their friends bringing toys to share, more children started to participate. It was really encouraging to see them willing to share their favourite toys.
During these days of sharing toys, there were some toys that got broken by accident. However, I was surprised to see that the children were very forgiving towards their friends and continued to share their toys with them.
Although they are still young and developing, they do have very big hearts! 💕
