During the June holidays, the children had so much fun creating masterpiece using old magazines that were collected by their supportive parents and teachers.
Each class level were given old magazines to work with. The task was to create a masterpiece with the recycle material.
Here is the end product.
The Nursery 2 children created a head lamp by roling the old magazines and bending it.
Who would have thought about making a head lamp using old magazines?
The children shared that it was a fun activity. They enjoyed rolling the magazines and bending it!

Moving on, the Kindergarten 1 children created very unique piece. Here it is.
It is a basket!
Using similar techniques to the N2 children, the K1 children created a basket by rolling and flattening the old magazines.
According to the teachers, the children took almost a week to complete the masterpiece as it requires a lot of strength to flatten the magazines.
Poor children! But on a bright side, you are doing your part in saving the Earth!
The last class had something different in mind. They brainstormed and came up with the idea of making a … BAG!
Is that even possible to start with? Hmm.. let’s take a look at these creative hands!

Great job, children! The K2 children shared that it was not an easy craft to complete but they were motivated to complete it to see the end product themselves.
The techniques used for the bag was folding and weaving.
Do not be deceive as how simple it looks in the picture because the children took 2 weeks to complete this big challenge!
This was such a great experience for the children and teachers as they learnt to create something out of the norms!
Those little hands had not only save the Earth but had became more creative through the journey.
