Growing a Greener Tomorrow, Together - “Little Steps, Big Impact”

We kicked off our very first Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) 2025 project with students from Bukit Panjang Government High School (BPGHS) for a meaningful learning journey focused on environmental care.

Over two sessions in March, the secondary students led engaging eco-themed activities for our preschoolers. The collaboration aimed to promote sustainability and foster intergenerational learning through fun, hands-on experiences.

Outdoor Cleanup & Sorting

The children went on a guided nature walk, picking up litter and learning to sort natural vs non-natural waste. This helped them understand the importance of keeping the environment clean and how long materials take to break down.

Interactive Eco Stations

Back in school, preschoolers explored different activity stations:

Matching Game: Sorting recyclables and non-recyclables

Eco Storytime: Stories that teach care for the Earth

Craft Corner: Creating planters from recycled bottles

Pledge Poster: Each child shared a simple promise to help the planet

The students from BPGHS were wonderful role models, guiding and encouraging our children throughout. We’re thankful for this collaboration that showed how small actions can lead to meaningful change—together.
