After attending Oh! What Farm! virtual workshop with Singapore Discovery Centre, the children received a plantings kit which they grew edible plants at home with the help of their parents!
In line with our literature-based approach, the children also learnt different concepts such as different parts of plants we eat, through a picture book <Oliver’s Vegetables> by Vivian French. The K2s realized that the food they eat doesn’t come easy as well as the consequences of food waste. Hence, they created posters on food wastage to advocate the rest of the school.
