Our SSDB launching was held last 27th of April. N2 to K2 children were introduced to our official community partner for this year, ‘Down Syndrome Association’.
We are glad to continue our partnership with them since last year and hope to make a magical connection with them through meaningful activities which instill values such as kindness, compassion and care.
During the Launch Party, Ms Sulyanna, from Executive Volunteer Management of Down Syndrome Association Singapore, had a short awareness talk with the children about the Down Syndrome per se, children with Down syndrome, how they look like, and ways of supporting them.
K1 & K2 children showed their gratitude to DSA in a form of sing and dance performances.
This year’s theme is “Teeny Tiny Hands, Caring for Everyone”. This year’s SSDB project, we will guide the children to take the lead and initiative to create meaningful activities and discover ways to extend their little helping hands to the people with disability.
