This month of May our centre celebrated Singapore Kindness Day. Our theme this year is “Be Kind to Earth”.
We believe that kindness is not limited to people but to our environment as well.
Our activity started by reading “Tomeo and the Snow Bear”. Children learned to accept each other differences.
Then our children collected some metal lids from their homes to create Singa Fridge Magnets.
We used recyclable materials such newspaper and metal lids in creating the Earth. Afterwards, we attached the metal lid to Singa.
We have given the fridge magnets in our neighbourhood. People appreciated children’s work and effort. Each child reminded the people to Be Kind to Earth by recycling and throwing rubbish at the correct places.
Our students reminded the people to be kind to everyone and to everything. For our children believe that …. Kindness Starts with Me!
