Our little children from Kids Campus Chai Chee has launched our 2nd year participating in SSDB. Donning the orange caps, we are greatly honoured to be part of SSDB Community.
Embracing the theme “Elderly: Closing the gap”, we would like to take this opportunity to get children involved in integenerational bonding and also instill appreciation and empathy towards older generations.
During this 6 month long project, we have collaborated with NTUC Health Senior Day Care (Heartbeat@Bedok) and will engage our children with various purposeful activities with the seniors.
On our launching day, we have introduced to our children “Four friends : Start, Small, Dream and Big” and the story of “Becky Bunny and The Great Outdoor”
With this launching of SSDB and other future activities, we hope that the children will appreciate elderly more and will show empathy towards older generations. Do watch for our next postings!
