In line with our Curriculum Theme ‘My Community’, children of Sweetlands Woodlands 608 embarked on the Start Small Dream Big project 2020 titled ‘Our Heroes of Covid-19’ to show their humble and deepest appreciation to all the essential workers and frontliners in our fight against this virus. We launched our project on 20th April 2020 and sent out take-home kits to all our parents to promote active parent-child bonding as well as creating awareness on safety and hygiene measures during the Circuit Breaker period. Children from the different class levels from infant to K2 participated enthusiastically and submitted their unique artworks as soon as school reopened. Our teachers compiled all the children’s artworks together with photos of their parents’ involvement and organized a mini gallery within their own classrooms to showcase their creativity and to acknowledge their hard work and efforts. We thank all the teachers, parents and the children for coming together to create their unique artworks in appreciation for our heroes. A big thank you to our frontline heroes for keeping us safe and healthy throughout the COVID-19 situation! ❤️
