During the month of May, our children from N2, K1 and K2 together with their parents took part in joining Bloobin’s mission to increase recycling rates and extend the lifespan of Semakau Landfill by recycling right. This is after listening to Bloobin’s story that 40% of items in the blue recycling bins cannot be recycled due to contamination by food and drink remnants, tissues, reusables and trash. The children and parents made sure that they checked and cleaned the items before recycling it.
