As part of our water saving initiative at Sunshine Kids Care Centre @ Tampines, all classes participated in ‘Water Wednesday’ activities that focuses on raising awareness about the uses of water and why we should use them sparingly. The activities revolves around 2 main focus; appreciating the uses of water and conserving our water resource.
Playgroup: Using water in art and natural environment
Pre-Nursery: Using water in art and saving to water saving song
Nursery 2: Using water in art and using enough water for handwashing
K1/K2: The rain cycle experiment
The children were able to recall on the water saving tips that were shared during the project. They also enjoyed exploring with water while learning about them.
