Early this week, we brought the children for a Art Jamming session at Sungei Whampoa!
The children came to school eager for our little trip to our favourite canal - Sungei Whampoa. The teachers also roped in the help of our parent volunteers, who very kindly took the time to hang out with us by the river. The children were tasked to draw the various animals, plants and/or structures they can find around the Sungei Whampoa area.
Geared with their drawing and colouring materials, our little geniuses had little to no trouble starting on their masterpieces!
Halfway through, we saw our friendly community cleaners cleaning up the canal! The children took this opportunity to thank them for keeping our Sungei Whampoa clean.
It was very heartwarming to see how appreciative our children are! Not long ago, we invited some of our community cleaners down to our centre to love and appreciate them for their hard work. Since then, each time we are outdoors, we often hear the children greeting the cleaners warmly and thanking them for keeping the area clean!
Oh! Our community cleaners also received a gift of appreciation and a thank you are from the children!
