The following week we invited the community living near our school for a midweek afternoon tea session. We got quite a number of responses. At the start, the children displayed some shyness although they were curious. They soon warmed up to the occasion, sang their hearts out loud during the songs presentation and led the guests in a SG active exercise. The children shared that we enjoyed their first experience. They felt happy when the aunties and uncles thanked them, some even hugged them. They understood when spoken to in Chinese or English.
