“Lend a Helping Hand”
Another year of COVID 19 situation has passed, but our children remained enthusiastic in participating for our SSDB Project, Stay Connected, Make a Difference. For this year’s SSDB Project, the children demonstrated love, care and compassionate to assist children who has chronic illnesses. They have also learnt the importance of volunteering and helping their community. We collaborated with the Club Rainbow as a partner to allow children to have a meaningful learning journey.
Videos of children who have chronic illnesses was shown to our children for them to create an awareness that they are people who need our help and love in the society.
As we ventured through our SSDB journey, the children were filled with excitement as they come to school with packed of diapers and milk powder with the intention of giving those items to the sick children.
With the support from our generous parents, we were able to contribute more items to help the low-income families who have children with chronic illnesses.
The children were actively sorting out the items into the boxes which will be delivered to Club Rainbow. Not only that, they also made a 2D Get Well Soon Card for the sick children to show care and concern.
