Children were creative in reusing glass items. At first, they collected two clean and dry jars. They took turns to cover the bottom of the jars with an inch of pebbles. Next, they added a layer of activated charcoal to remove odours. Lastly, they place a plant in the centre and patted down the soil gently. The terrarium was decorated by placing some coloured stones on top.
Children took care of their plants by watering them.
