We engage the children in a sustainability project to grow their own plants. During this project, the children had to use recyclable to create a pot to grow their seeds in.
They explored with a variety of materials such as plastic bottle and drink cartons to create their pots. They cared for their plants and water it daily to observe it’s growth.
Through this activity, the children realized that growing their own plants is not easy. It makes them appreciate the fruits and vegetables that they get to eat daily.
