On 9 July 2019 (Tuesday), we brought our children to Fort Canning Centre for Bicentennial Experience. It is also part of our Start Small Dream Big 2019 project.
The Bicentennial Experience at Fort Canning is centrepiece event which comprise an immersive audio-visual show highlighting key moments in Singapore’s evolution over 700 years, and interactive pavilions within the greenery of Fort Gate.
To retell the history of Singapore through their account as a time traveler. To provide an opportunity to discover Singapore’s rich history, to experience interactive fun elements such as interactive touchscreen that shares historical nuggets of Singapore, buzz feed quiz wall, curated tours, and more.
Upon reaching Fort Canning centre, the staff brief our children about safety as well as what was inside time traveler.
Then, we went in the Act 1 (beginning), Act 2 (Arrival), Act 3 (Connectivity), and Act 5 (Destiny) room for the shows.
Thereafter, children proceed to pathfinder, outdoor to explore with look out, emporium of the east, seed conservatory, light beam, house of maps, reflections of our past, observatory, pavilion of words, and fort gate.
Children were walking towards the entrance of the ACT 1 (Beginning) orderly.
Children were queuing for entering Act 1 (Beginning).
“We are now so excited!”
