Our centre organised a beach clean up at Coney Island on 22 July 2023 Saturday. Our goal was to create awarness in children and parents in creating a safer beach environment and protecting marine animals from consuming or getting trapped by the waste.
A total of 48 families ranging from N2 - K2, teachers and our principal participated in this event.
Parents and children were briefed of the Do’s and Dont’s before the start of the event.
Parents and children found trash along the way and picked up more along the coastline. We spent a total of 2 hours picking up trash before assembling together to take a group photo.
Children were given a badge to thank them for doing their part in keeping the beach clean. Thank you parents and children for your supporting participation. We look forward to the next beach clean up event.
