Children from N2 to K2 were participative and engaged in playing various traditional games during our Racial Harmony Day celebration held last 21th of July 2023 which in line with our theme “3 E’s for Life: Exercise, Eat Healthy, Enjoy Life”. All children gathered in one place to listen and and learn more about the celebration.
The teachers begun the celebration with a warm greetings to all children, followed by the introduction of what Racial Harmony Day celebration was all about and its importance. The teachers discussed the four main races in Singapore, its tradition and customs. Some children did a fashion show to showcase their fabulous traditional costumes whilst some became an audience. The children went back to their classroom and continued the celebration for an awesome dance performance and played the fun and thrilling several traditonal games.
Children were enthralled playing “Chapteh”.
Children were delighted to play “ Zero Point”.
Children had fun and took turns to play “Five Stones”.
Children were excited and eager to play “Bola Baling”.
Children were enthusiastic in performing the “Jingli Nona” dance.
The celebration was a great succes seeing everyone’s smile, hearing them talking about what they feels about the celebration and all.
