N2 to K2 children have participated in a mini-sports day event in our school held last Tuesday, 13 June 2023. This is to encourage children to have fun, to get active and to work together in various fun and exciting physical activities. Sports Day helps to enhance children’s physical, mental development as well as social skills.
We begun the event with a mass zumba dance, where all the children danced enthusiastically. Followed by a warm opening remarks from our lovely vice-principal. All children were excited and eager to begin playing the various games after teachers demonstrations. Children displayed perseverance, teamwork, confidence and enjoyment throughout the games. Moreover, they displayed kindness as they cheered their friends whilst playing. Everyone had a great time and had smiles on their faces.
Mass Zumba Dance-The children were actively participated in the zumbaxercise.
Teachers demonstrated the various physical activities to the children.
The children were all active, energetic and competitive! They waited and took turns to play the game. When a group of children played the game, the rest of the group cheered them. They were so encouraging and kind to one another.
We ended up the event with a wonderful group photo taking!❤️
Got a chance to have a class photo-taking before the event started😊
