In the month of June, children were introduced to the roots of Singapore- from how it was a small fishing town, and how Sir Stamford Raffles found us.
We also learnt how immigrants from China, India and the Malay Archipelago came to Singapore to look for job opportunities and eventually settled over the years and how a multi-racial formed! An eye-opener as they realised that Singapore had changed a lot over the years!
