During our SSDB journey, we invited families to join us in our fundraising event for the wildlife! We chose this special day 8th August to celebrate two meaningful events; Singapore 58th birthday and 50th anniversary of the Mandai wildlife group!
Parents were gathered to design our very own SSDB t-shirts for their children! Look at the children and their families creating their designs using the t-shirt template! Thereafter, these designs will be sent for making and the children will be putting them on to our zoo trip end of the year!!!
Before we end our project, we opened up the letter from the zoo keeper replying us on the 5 questions we have for Khansa! The children were so excited to know if Khansa likes durian, goes to school etc!
Lastly, before we end our SSDB journey the children spend some time at our SSDB corner, singing the “Start small dream big” song and they said: “No one can do everything but everyone can do something” Through this project, these little ones has learnt that everybody even them young children can play a part in helping the wildlife!
We are very thankful to be able to be apart in this project!
