During the circuit breaker, we launched our SSDB project through a pre-recorded video that we sent to the children through the Littlelives portal. The story is about a sea creature whom in the beginning is a callous but suddenly trapped in a situation where he needed help. The callous creature then learnt to respect and appreciate through saying “sorry” and “thank you” to other sea creatures who helped him.
Our centre further launch the project through a classroom discussion, role playing and painting activity (resources from kindsville) on when and where they should use Kind Words especilally in this time of pandemic.
Through our Start Small Dream Big 2020, we hope to encourage the children to use their abilities to give back to the community. While doing so, we can instill a sense of social responsibility amongst childre, develop an appreciation for others and empower them in ways to discover that together, they can
touch the lives of others in the community.
