The N2 to K2 children of M.Y World @ Tampines Central proudly launched the school’s SSDB (Start Small Dream Big) project with the theme “Growing Together: Greener Communities, Brighter Futures” on 9 April. The project aimed to raise awareness about sustainability and environmental protection, inspiring the children to take action for a healthier planet.
The day was filled with exciting and meaningful activities, including a recycled costume fashion show where children creatively showcased outfits made by their families using repurposed materials. They also participated in interactive games such as “Every Drop of Water Counts”, “Let’s Sort, Build, and Recycle”, and a “Beach Clean-up”, which encouraged hands-on learning about caring for the environment.
The highlight of the event was a short skit performed by the K2 children, creatively demonstrating simple yet impactful ways to protect and preserve the Earth.
