After discussing about water conservation, we moved on to our next topic about valuing and appreciating nature. Teacher read out the book titled, ‘An Adventure in a City in a Garden’ and children shared their experiences of visiting places such as Singapore Botanical Garden, Gardens by the Bay, the Jewel, etc.
On 17th July 2019, we visited Bollywood Veggies Organic Farm. Children explored nature through their senses and learnt about different types of plants and trees.
Children got to do hands-on activity to pot their own herbs and steps on how to care for them. They got to bring home the plant.
