Children found out that visually impaired people make use of their sense of touch, smell, hear and taste to ‘see’ the world.
In this activity, children put their blindfolds on and they get to experience on how the visually impaired people make use of their sense of touch to ‘see’. They had fun guessing their friends, feeling and touching things around the classroom while some even bumped onto their friends. It was a great experience for them as they get to understand better what is it like to be visually impaired and challenges they faced.
