In the month of March, we pre-launched our SSDB project through current affairs. Children discussed about the COVID-19 situation through newspaper articles. They were amazed about how the frontline workers were dedicating their time and efforts to keep Singapore safe for everyone.
Children wanted to show their gratitude to the frontline healthcare staff. They wanted to motivate them for their hardwork and commitment with motivational gifts.
For the next 2 weeks, K1 and K2 children worked together under the teachers’ guidance to prepare the gifts for the doctors and nurses at National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).
Our motivational gifts were ready.
Before sending it off to NCID, we took a snapshots of our motivational gifts with our K1 and K2 children.
We were elated to receive an acknowledgment letter from NCID. They said that they were energised by our generous well-wishes and kind support.
