The Start Small Dream Big launch party was successfully held on 14 July 2020 @ PCF SPARKLETOTS PRESCHOOL @ Tampines North Blk.443
As part of our project title ‘Fighting Covid-19’ for this year, we invited an A&E Nurse from Ng Teng Fong Hospital. The K2 Ixora & Carnation Class had a short interview session via Zoom with Nurse Benningrace Bora. The children asked questions about Nurse Ben’s work, her contribution in the hospital and her wellbeing.
To close the interview session with Nurse Benningrace, the K2 Ixora & Carnation children danced a special number entitled ‘BACK TO SCHOOL WITH OUR NEW ABCs’ for Nurse Ben.
The K1 Lily & Daisy Class also conducted a short interview session via Zoom App with a firefighter and a paramedic at Changi Firestation .
Madame Tan (paramedic) who is the parent of one of the K1 child had a fruitful interview session with the kids. The children gained beneficial knowledge on the contribution of the frontliners during the pandemic period.
The firefighter surprised the kids when he showed up for interview with full gear in action!
Then, the children worked on their individual SSDB REFLECTION JOURNAL by drawing theirselves and four of their friends as a ‘Special Agent of the President’s Challenge’ as they journey this SSDB Project together.
