This year, as part of Little Footprints Preschool @ Woodlands 877’s project on ‘Doing Good Together’, we wanted to show our care for the people in our community. As part of our ongoing partnership with Man Fut Tong Nursing Home and to show our appreciation to the nurses there who care for the elderlies in our community, we packed some care packages for our launch party to be given out to them. We also wanted to extend the good deed to the workers in our community such as the construction workers and cleaners around our area. The children also did up some ‘Thank you’ cards using the resources from Singapore Kindness movement to give out to our community helpers. Through this activity, we hope to kickstart a series of good deeds to inspire and develop a thoughtful and empathetic group of children who show care for their community.
