This is the third year that the centre is embarking on a meaningful project, the Start Small Dream Big which will give the children many opportunities to take part in shaping a better world through a variety of community services.
Prior to the launch, the children discussed about their previous ‘Start Small Dream Big’ experiences. During their brainstorming sessions, they came up with what they would like to do this year. The children decided to give back to society by showing love and care for the elderly particularly the elderly residents of St. Andrew’s Nursing Home, which is located opposite our centre. Aside from this, the children would want to show care for the environment through neighbourhood clean-up drive and beautification of our school garden by planting more flowering plants and vegetables.
On 6 April 2018, the entire centre gathered at the void deck for the SSDB Virtual Launch Party.
Our K2 children showcased their talents in the Mother Tongue. Our K2 Loyalty performed a Chinese poetry recitation and K2 Respect performed a musical skit using props and costumes made from recyclables.
