By understanding the waste challenges faced in Singapore and the impacts of our behaviour, the children learn more about responsible practices such as the 3Rs.
During our Earth Day school event, we worked together with parents to develop awareness and personal responsibility in conserving the limited resources for environment sustainability.
Utilizing the resources from NPark, the K1 and K2 children participated in potting activity where they planted some seeds in hope to grow vegetables such as chilli and tomatoes!
The children also took the time to reflect their thoughts by logging in their journal what they have learnt and their favourite activity.
After 3 weeks, the seeds have sprouted and the growth from Day 1 to 21 were recorded. The children are excited to witness more fruits and vegetables grow, as part of our sustainable efforts in saving Earth!
