In conjunction with World Water Day on 22nd March 2019, our children learnt about the 4 national taps and the importance of water conservation. The children also picked up water saving habits for both home and school, realising each of them plays an important role in saving water, maintaining sustenance.
Parents and children created their water pledge, which commits to maintaining a sustainable lifestyle while protecting our water resources.
Our learning journey was made more enriching with a trip to Marina Barrage Sustainable Singapore Gallery where children learn more about efforts and commitment to sustainable development, including water saving tips.
Children also had the opportunity to reach out to members of the public when they distributed ‘Saving water’ bookmarks outside Hillion Mall. It was an enriching experience where our children realised that “No one can do everything but everyone can do something!”
