For SSDB 2022, Little Sage @ Hillview has decided to work on the theme “Caring for the community”. As such, we aim to encourage children to help the less fortunate and develop social awareness and compassion by joining SPD in raising funds for people with disabilities.
We invited Mr Calvin Lee from SPD to give a talk on disabilities so that our little ones will be able understand more about disabilities and how they themselves can support people with disabilities. After the talk, our little ones have a better idea the things that they could do to help people with disabilities.
Our little ones have decided that besides doing a fund raising they would also love to donate wheelchairs to SPD so that the public can learn how to handle a wheelchair.
