“Creating an inclusive preschool for more empathetic and connected society.”

We are thrilled to kickstart our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project in partnership with the Down Syndrome Association (Singapore)!

A special resource speaker from DSA visited us to conduct an engaging talk and storytelling, raising awareness and understanding of down syndrome among our young learners. It was an inspiring session that fostered empathy and inclusivity in our children. The session gave the children a better understanding of Down Syndrome and how inclusivity can be part of their daily school life.

As we find inclusivity in preschools is crucial in today’s educational landscape, this collaboration will help our children better understand and appreciate differences, fostering an environment of empathy and acceptance. When some children enrolled in the center have special needs, it’s essential for their peers to be aware and considerate of these differences. Inclusive talks ensure that all children feel valued and respected, promoting a supportive and cohesive school environment where every child can thrive.🫶🏻
