At Kiddy Campus Eunos, we believe that each and everyone of our children have the traits to innovate, problem solve and tap on their unique strengths to help others and make a difference. On 18th of April 2019, we launched our first ever Start Small, Dream Big Project with the tagline ‘ Have A Piece Of CAKE’ that promotes the values of Care, Appreciation, Kindness and Empathy to the children. Our beneficiary for this project will be the children from Pertapis Children’s Home. Prior to this launch, our K1 and K2 children were enthusiastic to share their ideas on how to help others. They made their pledges and took part in preparing the banner and decorations. Our parents participated as well and assisted their children in making a poster with the slogan ‘Have A Piece of CAKE.’
The launch started with an opening speech by Teacher Jing. We were proud to have Arissa, Deen Shan, Norshakira and Zayn from K1 and K2 children as our emcees for the event. The programme began with a video presentation by Teacher Daisy of what SSDB is all about and a video of our beneficiary . After the video presentation, the project was launched with a cake cutting ceremony by Madam Rafeah, Shaheed’s mum and Thira’s mum. The program ended with a lovely performance by the K1 and K2 children with the song ‘We Can Make a Difference’. Our children’s journey towards making a positive difference had just began and just like what the quote says, ‘No one can do everything, but everyone can do something’
