Our school held our launch party today with the title, “ Better Environment, Better tomorrow” as our focus.
Children of N2s and K1s will be the ones participating in this project.
The launch party started at 10am. Teacher Feeza shared with us a poster which showed sea animals eating plastics n rubbish that was found in the sea.
Then, she shared an article about the whale which was found dead in Philippines. They found almost 40kg of plastic in its stomach.
Prior to the launch party, our Teachers invited a parent-child collaboration activity which is to create a Poster which depicts about “Clean and Green Environment”. We also encouraged them to come up with their own slogan. The response was very encouraging.
We ended off the party by giving out 4 prizes to the best posters, a token of participation by our principal and a happy Group photo!
We promised to do our part to have a better environment for all, not just for us but also for the animals and plants.
We are definitely looking forward to more SSDB activities with our Teachers!!
