On the 30th of April 2021, My First at Blk 52 Cassia Crescent launched our Start Small Dream Big project “A little kindness goes a long way”. Through embarking on this project, we hope to foster sense of emphaty and conpassion in our young children. We will be taping on the resources provided to plan and engage children in various activities as well as preparing take home kit activities to involve our parents in this Start Small Dream Big journey.
The children created their very own paper plate flower prior to the launch day. They brought the flower home where the children wrote and draw their kindness pledge together with the parents. The parents took the time to talk to the children about how they can do thier part to show that they care for one another and to spread kindness.
On the launch day, We took the opportunity to show the start small dream big launch video to the children and talked about the theme for this year’s project.The children were then invited to share their pledges with the class.
We are indeed excited to start the project and looking forward to work alongside parents in doing our part together with the children to spead kindness in our own small ways.
