On 6 April 2018, the N2 to K2 children celebrated the launch of our Start Small Dream Big project! Prior to the launch, the children engaged in a KWL discussion to identify what it means to be kind and the acts of kindness. They were particularly interested in understanding the importance of caring for pets and their significance. As such, the K2 children decided to create their own 3D pets and houses using recycled materials.
On the launch day, the children read a story about showing kindness to animals. They also showed kindness to the people around them by identifying ways to make their peers happy and respecting their teachers.
The children are looking forward to engaging in more kindness activities over the next few months. After all; no one can do everything, but everyone can do something!
