After learning about how Singapore progressed from a Fishing Village to a Metropolitan and Cosmopolitan country and how the people helped one another to achieve and reach where we are now, we had a fruitful and more meaningful celebration of Singapore’s 54th National Day. As we learnt about the past of Singapore, from its struggles to its successes, the children has learnt to show appreciation and love for their country.
-
During our National Day Celebration, the children showcased their talents and performed a dance for their parents.
-
The K2 students performed and danced “Reach Out for the Skies” while the K1 students danced “Singapore Town”.
After the children’s impressive performances, we had our SSDB Closure wherein we shared about our student’s journey in learning about Singapore Bicentennial.
We also showcased all the wonderful masterpieces done by the children and the parents were able to buy their children’s work.

All the proceeds of the donation drive will be given to our chosen community which is the SPD (Serving People with Disabilities).
With this activity, the children had an authentic experience on what is community service and how we can help other people in need.
