Our centre is thrilled to share with you our project this year that will be focusing on recycling.
We launched our ‘Start Small Dream Big’ project on 22 April 2024, during our Earth Day Awareness event. During this event, our children learnt about the current condition of the Earth and the environmental challenges we are facing such as pollution and global warming. Children from each level were involved in activities such as sensory bins for Playgroup and Nursery 1, baking Earth Day cookies for Nursery 2, planting green bean seeds in recycled milk cartons for Kindergarten 1 and creating agamographs for Kindergarten 2.
After conducting the activities, the Kindergarten 1 and 2 children went around the neighbourhood to identify our main recycling bins and find out what should and should not be placed inside the recycling bins.
