It is finally time to present the hampers to the Bishan Home residents!
The children excitedly gathered in the school’s sanctuary, with the help of teachers carrying the many beautiful hampers made by each class. The children put up a performance and sang 3 songs (‘This Little Light of Mine’, ‘Together’ and ‘Helping Others’) for the Bishan Home residents.
The Bishan Home residents enjoyed the performance as well as the items donated by the children. We pray for good health and happiness for the Bishan Home residents and hope that they experienced the love and care showered upon them.
Through this event, the children had the opportunity to learn how to show care and concern for the community as well the people around them and we look forward to our next SSDB!
