This year in our SSDB project 2021 - “Go Green with Wrappers”, our K1 children will embark on a journey to learn about the importance of recycling and its benefits. They will also acquire the skills of using recyclable material to create something useful. At the end of this project, they will gain in-depth knowledge and wholesome experiences as they learn through lessons and craft works that stimulate their hands and minds. Through the activities, children can evoke their sense of worth, competence, and belonging as a unique individual, fostering their abilities to contribute to the environment as a responsible member.

Our 1st Lesson - “Ocean Pollution” [15.07.2021]
We learned about what is Ocean Pollution by watching a Youtube video - “A Whale’s Tale”. After the video, we had a discussion on what are the cause and effects of ocean pollution, and how we can do our part in helping to keep our ocean clean. The “Clean up Pollution” activity helped us realised the importance of keeping our water clean.
