As part of the Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) initiative, which focuses on recycling and sustainability, our school actively encouraged the use of recycled materials across various lessons. These materials were incorporated into activities ranging from play and numeracy to art, STEMIE, outdoor learning, and Mother Tongue Language (MTL) lessons. Additionally, teachers introduced topics related to planting, and students had the opportunity to further explore sustainability through a hands-on field trip where they created their own terrariums.
This initiative not only promotes environmental awareness but also integrates sustainability into our students’ learning experiences in a fun and interactive way.
