Launch party
We hope to create an awareness of children in need and hence, the Nursery, K1s and K2s students kicked start our Start Small Dream Big project through a launch party with Pertapis Children’s Home on 1st July 2022. The staff from Pertapis did a sharing with our parents and children. Thereafter, our children did a performance for the children and staff at the home.
Preparation
We began to prepare food items list where the children listed down the food items and send it out to the parents in our school.
Food Donation Drive
We had our food donation drive running for 2 weeks. The children had extend this initiative to our center parents, inviting them onboard for the food donation drive. Each family had donated a variety of items.
Packing of food items
The K2s then packed the food items according to each category. And we are all ready to deliver it!
Delivering of rations
On 6 September 2022, we delivered the donated food by our school parents to Pertapis Children’s Home. Our parent volunteers had help us with the delivery of the rations. Thank you to our parents and Pertapis Children’s Home! 😊
