During the term 3 take-home activity, the parents were required to use recyclable materials, such as plastic bottles, toilet rolls, cardboards or plastic bags to create transportation with their children. During the show and tell, the children were proud to share how they made use of the recyclable materials that they could find at home to create their transportation. During our recycling project work, we used the carton box to create it into a flying areoplane board game. The children were also involved in the recycling project work by helping to paint on the flying areoplane board game. Parents were also invited to the centre to participate in the recycling project. The parents and the children have a great time folding the magazine into an areoplane and participate in the flying areoplane game. Parents also helped their children to create a pencil holder by using the toilet roll and ice-cream sticks. Our parents and children have a great time participating in the recycling project. Through this recycling project work, both parents and children learnt about the importance of recycling.
