Children participated in their first physical charity event after 2 years. Through this project, children learnt about helping and giving back to the society by reusing and recycling their old items.
Children from Infant, Playgroup and Pre-Nursery donated their old pots and pans to be recycled and reused to form a Musical Garden. They sold tickets to their musical performances to raise funds for SSDB.
Children from Nursery decided to reuse old clothed tote bags and give them a makeover by repainting them with their parents. They excitedly showed off their designs as they sashayed down their runway.
Children from Kindergarten 1 were posed with a question – “What can we do with these chairs instead of throwing them away?” They discussed different ways to reuse and recycle them and drew up their designs. They even created their own posters and price tags. On the day of their Recycled Items Fundraiser, the children put on a catwalk and “Striked a Pose for Chairity!”
